This policy explains what information Josie AI Lite uses, where it is stored, and the choices available to you.

1. Overview

Josie AI Lite is an educational iOS app for aspiring virtual assistants. You can use the core program without creating an account. The app is designed to keep your learning information on your device.

2. Information stored on your device

Josie AI Lite may store the following information locally:

  • The name you choose to display on your completion certificate.
  • Your completed lessons, tasks, task steps, and completion dates.
  • Whether the app has already asked you to leave an App Store rating.

This information supports progress tracking, day unlocking, certificate creation, and your in-app experience.

3. Information we collect

Josie AI Lite does not require registration and does not send your certificate name or learning progress to a Josie AI Lite server. Audio lessons and core learning content are included with the app and play locally on your device.

In short: your course progress and certificate name stay on your device unless you choose to share or back up your device through services you control.

4. Apple services

When Josie AI Lite asks for an App Store rating, the request is handled by Apple. Apple may process information according to its own privacy policy and App Store terms. Josie AI Lite does not receive the text of your review through the app.

5. External links

The app contains links to job boards, legal pages, and other external resources. Opening a link takes you to a service outside Josie AI Lite. That service may receive standard browser or device information and is governed by its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review those policies before providing personal information.

6. Retention and deletion

Local information remains on your device until you remove it. The Reset Progress control clears lesson completion, task completion, task steps, and completion dates while keeping your certificate name. You can change or clear the certificate name in Settings. Deleting the app generally removes its locally stored data, subject to device backups and Apple’s platform behavior.

7. Security

We use the protections provided by iOS for app storage. No method of electronic storage is completely secure, but we limit the information used by Josie AI Lite to what is needed for the app’s features.

8. Children’s privacy

Josie AI Lite is intended for a general audience seeking professional education and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Josie AI Lite changes. The latest version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
